The Next Step by Red Wing
Branding work for Red Wing Shoes’ youth initiative development program, The Next Step. The purpose of this program was to educate high school students about opportunities to further their education and careers in the trades, as opposed to a “traditional” four-year degree at an institution. The program was ultimately re-named and re-configured, leading to this work being unused.
The Mark
The mark was inspired by the seals and emblems of labor unions, as well as the impressions left by mills in the brick and steel used to build the cities we live in.
